Synchronous vs Asynchronous MBA Study
Live classes and recorded classes change who can attend.
Asynchronous study means you use recorded material and deadlines without a set meeting. Synchronous study means you are present live, often in a stated time zone. Many online MBAs mix both.
The mix matters if you work shifts, travel, or live far from the school’s clock. A program can be fully online and still require weekly live attendance. Recordings, when they exist, are not always a substitute for the live session.
If the official page does not describe the mix, this directory leaves it unpublished rather than guessing from the learning platform’s brand.
