How to Choose an Online MBA
A practical way to compare award, delivery, cost, and eligibility without relying on a ranking.
Start with the award, not the marketing label. Confirm that the provider will confer a Master of Business Administration, or a local title you have checked against that country’s qualification framework. A course described as MBA-style, or a Master of Management, is a different qualification.
Next, separate delivery from convenience. Fully online, online with a required residency, and hybrid programs impose different travel and time rules. Read the page that describes workshops, examinations, and time zones, not only the word online.
Then read price the way the school publishes it. A per-credit rate, a per-year fee, and a program total are not interchangeable. Ask whether the figure is for domestic students, international students, or everyone, and which compulsory fees sit outside it.
Use accreditation as scope, not as a trophy. A business school’s AACSB, AMBA, or EQUIS recognition does not automatically describe every partner or every pathway. National recognition is a separate question from international membership.
This directory can show only what an official page stated on the review date. It does not rank programs and it cannot promise admission, a visa, or a salary.
